The Reusch Family Christmas Letter 2024
Merry Christmas to our dear friends and family! 2024 has been a year of tremendous change for our family. We have grown in faith and seen incredible growth in our three boys—Beau (10), Grey (7), and Mack (3). One of the biggest changes was our move from our home on Canyon View to a larger house just a few miles away. This move was necessary as Sheila’s mom, Sylvia (aka Nana), has moved in with us, and Will’s mom (aka Oma) also made the big move across the country to be closer to family. Our home is full of love, laughter, and a lot of activity. Through it all, we trust God’s guidance in every step of this journey.
Mack, the baby of the family, has truly come into his own this year. At just three years old, he’s already showing his mischievous and fun-loving personality. We often joke that his name fits him perfectly because he’s so “makulit”—a Tagalog word for naughty and stubborn. He’s obsessed with trucks, loves singing (loudly!), and is determined to keep up with his big brothers. Mack achieved a major milestone recently by conquering potty training, and we’re excited for him to start pre-K in the new year!
Grey continues to amaze us with his creativity and passion for design. Our little artist and motorhead spends hours sketching and designing everything from rocket ships to sneakers, especially Air Jordans, as a proud “sneakerhead.” His love for cars remains as strong as ever, and Sunday mornings often find him and Will at a local car show, proudly wearing their matching “Car Guy” shirts before heading to church. Grey is thriving in 2nd grade, training and competing in jiu-jitsu, and even performing on stage as a singer.
Beau, now in double digits, has had an extraordinary year. While he still enjoys jiu-jitsu, puzzles, and singing, his newest passion is acting. After helping friends with a TV pilot, Beau’s talent caught the attention of an agent who quickly signed him. Despite struggling with focus and reading, Beau’s dedication to memorizing scripts and working long hours on set has been incredible to watch. He just wrapped his first short film and loved every moment of it. We are so proud of his enthusiasm and drive.
All three boys are athletic and excel at every sport they try—we have no idea where they get it from, but it’s been a joy to watch their growth!
Sheila, as always, wears many hats and does it all with grace. This year, she has taken on the role of “stage mom,” helping Beau with his lines, wardrobe, and prep for filming. She also nurtures Grey’s artistic talents and curls his hair at night while soaking up precious moments cuddling with Mack. Sheila continues to lead her incredible team at Pretty Rich Bosses, empowering beauty business owners nationwide. She’s also been diving into marketing software and design development, which has been an exciting shift in her career. Her new office overlooking the San Fernando Valley is a daily reminder of her hard work and success.
Will made a bold career change this year, stepping away from 17 years of classroom teaching to launch his own education company, Patterdox. This decision has been both challenging and rewarding as he works to extend his impact beyond the classroom. Transitioning from teaching in person to working on a computer has been an adjustment, but it has also allowed him to spend more time with the boys. Will has already helped several families in just a few months and is excited about what’s to come. He continues to train in jiu-jitsu and has become more involved in our church, Freedom, which has been a blessing to our family.
Looking back on 2024, we are filled with gratitude. It has been a year of growth—spiritually, professionally, and personally. We’ve made big changes, leaned on our faith, and cherished watching our boys grow. We are so thankful for the love and support of friends and family like you.
Wishing you a joyous Christmas season filled with peace, love, and God’s blessings.
With love,
The Reusch Family
