Ep. 176: NORMALIZING FEMALE MILLIONAIRES IN BEAUTY, BROW AND LASH BUSINESS GROWTH EXPERT

We need to start doing the work of normalizing female millionaires.

It is normal for women to make millions. It is normal for female beauty entrepreneurs to make millions. But, for some reason, that's a controversial thing to say! Even though it's true.

Do you know why it's controversial? Because we're not talking about it. We're not doing our due diligence to make sure people know that it is possible.

How do we normalize female millionaires? Well, buckle up beauty boss! I'm gonna tell you exactly how in this episode.

Here are the episode highlights:

β€£β€£  [02:59]  Why we need to stop villainizing women for prioritizing their financial success.

β€£β€£  [06:04]  If we all start being more honest about our numbers and actually talking about our successes - then we can start to normalize our success.

β€£β€£  [08:29]  I'm gonna get started: let's talk numbers.

Ep. 175: BREATHING ROOM, BOUNDARIES & ASKING FOR HELP IN YOUR BEAUTY BUSINESS, WITH MICROBLADER AND PMU ARTIST/MARKETER SHEILA BELLA

No matter how hard you try - you can't pour from an empty cup.

That's something that I say a lot. I tell it to my students, I tell it to my team, and it's something that I have to remind myself of too!

No matter how hard any of us try or no matter how much we wish we were, we're not never-ending sources of energy. We can't be everything for everyone all the time nor can we do everything for everyone all the time! That's something that I think is a big issue for a lot of entrepreneurs but especially for female entrepreneurs. Because we put so much pressure on ourselves to be Wonder Woman.

But here's the thing - Wonder Woman isn't real. We are! And the reality is that in order to achieve all of the incredible things that we want to achieve - we have to take care of ourselves first!

I know that this can be a hard lesson to learn, but it's probably one of the most important things you'll learn as an entrepreneur. Not even as an...

Ep. 171: COURTNEY BUHLER FOUNDER OF SUGARLASH PRO & PLUSH AND OAK ABOUT THE LASH AND BROW BUSINESS AND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEAUTY ENTREPRENEURS AND BEAUTY ENTREPRENEURIAL

There's a BIG difference between being an entrepreneur and being entrepreneurial.

A lot of people can be entrepreneurial - they can come up with the ideas and think about the ways that they could be successful entrepreneurs - but not all of them are prepared for what it takes to actually be an entrepreneur. Are you?

I don't think you'd be here if you weren't, babe! ;)

For this episode, I brought on my amazing friend Courtney Buhler - who is also going to be a guest speaker at the long-awaited Pretty Ambitious Summit! She's also the CEO of Sugarlash Pro and Plush and Oak - two brands that are changing the beauty industry! Courtney is the definition of an entrepreneur.

If you want to know what it takes - this episode is for you!

Here are the episode highlights:

Ep. 165: BRAVER NOT SMALLER HOW GETTING CANCELED HAS CHANGED ME FOREVER, BEAUTY INDUSTRY TOXICITY

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

That's what the great philosopher Kelly Clarkson said. And she's right!

Today, I want to talk about something extremely important: getting canceled. Nobody wants to get canceled and today, with the way the internet works, it's possible that it could happen to any one of us. No matter what size platform you have, people are watching you like a hawk, waiting to catch you slipping up.

I know that idea strikes fear in some of you. Heck, I was scared of it too! But then something happened - I got canceled.

Maybe you haven't heard about it yet, but I'm not going to shy away from it. You guys know me. I'm not about secrets. So we're going to talk about what happened, why I got canceled, what it was like, how I handled it, and how it changed me.

I'm not going to let what happened make me smaller. I'm going to let it make me braver.

Here are the episode highlights:

β€£β€£  [02:09]  I...

Ep. 163: SARAH PENDRICK ON INSECURITIES, FEMALE EMPOWERMENT, SOCIAL MEDIA BULLYING AND CANCEL CULTURE

"I listen to what my soul wants, I practice, I'm around people that give me a safe space to say how I feel, to say what I do and don't want to do."

There are a lot of reasons why female entrepreneurs can be afraid of showing up online. When you put yourself online you are opening yourself up to a whole new kind of vulnerability. It's easy for people to forget that behind our screens are real people with real feelings and they can start to say some pretty hurtful things.

Nobody wants to be canceled - but we can't let fear stop us from showing up as our authentic selves and serving others. For this episode, I sat down with my friend Sarah Pendrick, the creator of Girl Talk. Sarah and I have both been doing our thing on the internet for a while and have gotten our fair share of social media bullying. But I think Sarah is a pro at looking a difficult situation in the eye and rising above it.

In this episode, we talk about tackling...

Ep. 148: BUSINESS, FRIENDSHIPS & SELF VALUE; HOW IT AFFECTS YOUR BEAUTY BUSINESS WITH MICROBLADER AND PMU ARTIST SHEILA BELLA

"My question is: is a life not expressed much of a life at all?"

One of the most important elements to becoming a successful entrepreneur in the beauty industry is knowing your worth. Your sense of self-value is key.

All of us are scared, all of us are afraid of judgment. But if you surround yourself with true friends that really lift you up and support you, then you'll find that you're able to achieve a lot more than you ever could when you were on your own. Everyone is afraid of being judged - but it's that fear that's actually holding you back.

In this episode, we're going to jump into how business, friendship, and self-value are all tied together and how they impact you as a beauty entrepreneur. I'm also going to share how you can learn to embrace who you are and stop holding back so that you can build the business of your dreams, and ultimately live a better life.

Ep. 147: MONEY AND MARRIAGE: AN OPEN DISCUSSION WITH MY HUSBAND WILL REUSCH ABOUT WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE MARRIED TO AN AMBITIOUS WOMAN, BEAUTY BUSINESS MARKETING STRATEGIST, AND MICROBLADER

"...it's no secret that bankruptcy and divorce, they're best friends."

Do you have a good relationship with money? Does your partner? Do you feel comfortable talking about money with your partner?

A lot of people don't - and I think that's a really big mistake. There's a lot of shame and fear around money but there doesn't have to be. I believe that in order to have a healthy, long-lasting relationship, you need to be able to have hard conversations with your partner, especially about money!

So for this episode, I brought my husband, Will Reusch, onto an IG live so we could talk all about our individual experiences with money growing up, how will handle disagreements about finances now, what it's like dating/marrying an entrepreneur, judgment from family and friends, and so much more.

Here are the episode highlights:

β€£β€£  [07:08]  Let's get right into it: how important is it for couples to talk about money?

Have you ever wondered what it was like to be in a relationship with an entrepreneur?

Maybe your partner's an entrepreneur or maybe you're an entrepreneur yourself and you just find yourself wondering: wait how does this work? What does a relationship like this even look like? All relationships come with their own hurdles and solutions but in this episode I'm going to give you an INSIDE look into my own relationship with my husband, Will. I asked you guys to send me all of your juicy questions on my IG stories and...well, you'll just have to listen to the episode to hear how it all went down.

Ep. 43: Stefanos Sifandos | The Role Of Healthy Masculinity In The World Of Female Entrepreneurship

We need both masculine and feminine energy. They balance each other out.

Stefanos Sifandos is one of my favorite people on Instagram. Everything he posts is just so insightful. He's a love and relationship coach - which I think everyone can learn from regardless of whether you're in a "good" relationship, "bad" relationship, or not in one at all. He works predominantly with men and channeling your masculine energy efficiently, but he also sees a lot of women one on one.

He's just really intelligent and I think the work he's doing on Instagram is something everyone needs to pay attention too because it's so important.

I was super excited when he agreed to be on Pretty Rich Podcast with me because, you know, I only want to deliver my Pretty Rich family the best. And he is.

We're talking all about emotional intelligence, the power of failure, getting your man into self-development, masculinity in female entrepreneurship, and so much more good stuff.

Get your...
